Welcome to my site. This is where I’ll share research notes, short tutorials, and updates on what I’m working on in seismology — earthquake detection, relocation, and machine-learning phase picking.
Why a blog?
Writing things down forces clarity. I plan to use these notes to:
- explain methods I find useful (and the gotchas I hit),
- document small tools and workflows, and
- keep a running log of project progress.
How to add a post
Create a file in _posts/ named YYYY-MM-DD-title.md with front matter like the top of this file, then write in Markdown. Math works too, via MathJax:
